TYPES OF DOMICILIARY CARE

Palliative:

We provide quality care, guaranteeing that people’s last wishes are met during the last days of their life.

Respite Care:

If you need temporary help caring for a loved one, we offer respite care services to meet your or your loved ones’ needs.

Rehabilitation Care:

We support people during their recovery journey contributing immensely to their general well-being and ensuring early recuperation.

Live-In Care and 24-Hour Care:

We provide personalised care tailored to the need of your loved one and ensure that there is always a carer available to assist at all times. We ensure regular changeovers among carers to prevent carer exhaustion and minimise errors in care provision. A carer will be present 24 hours or live in your home to provide daily support, or there will be a 12-hourly shift among carers to ensure continuity of care for 24 hours.

Visiting Care:

We offer the most appropriate care when you need it in the comfort of your home. This is an alternative to living in a care home. Care plan duration ranges from 30 minutes and above at various intervals. Care visits are scheduled chiefly around meal times and when medications are to be given.

Over Night:

We offer care services to people who may need night support, especially those who live alone and require constant repositioning and transfer support to prevent falls, which are prevalent among the elderly living alone due to disorientation.

CARE SERVICES WE PROVIDE

Personal Care:

We provide support with showering, bathing, incontinence care, toileting and stoma care, and oral hygiene support. Additionally, we support our clients in making clothing choices by themselves and help them dress and undress when needed.

Social Support and Companionship:

Our carers provide friendly support to those who need companions as it can feel very isolating being home alone for an extended period. We engage them in their hobbies of interest in their homes or assist them in joining community recreational activities. We keep records of all their healthcare appointments and prepare them on the due day. As part of our social responsibilities, we periodically provide grocery shopping support for clients. We do this to connect our clients to their communities and loved ones.

Domestic:

We provide housekeeping support, laundry, and pet care. Having a tidy and well-organised home contributes to health by minimising infection spread.

Nutrition and Feeding Support:

We assist our clients with meal planning and preparation to meet all their dietary requirements, working alongside other healthcare professionals. We do this considering their preferences, ensuring meals are tasty and nutritious. We also provide feeding support to those who cannot feed themselves.

Medication Support:

We provide medication support at all the approved levels, such as giving physical support, prompting, administering, stock taking, medication pick-ups and returns. Our staff are well trained to render any form of medication support.

Moving and Handling:

For all our clients with some form of disability which render them incapable of moving independently, we offer transfer and moving support while ensuring independence in areas our clients can do. Our staff are trained to use various moving and handling equipment such as hoists and slings.

Specialised Support Services:

We offer other approved services tailored to the needs of our clients upon request.
